Peace

Found, unexpectedly just behind me here at the house. It was there just waiting for me. 

Carefully I go for it and look. 
Reluctantly, I kneel down and stretch out my hand. 

With a huge jerk I pull my hand back. 
I do not want, I dare not, fear cuts my throat. 

It is just there in front of my nose.
I shrink back one meters and walk carefully around it. 

I must have a good look from all sides
I kneel down again and this time 
I stretch my both hands towards it. 

Very carefully I touch it with a finger. 
A strange tingling rushing through my body. 

A delicious warmth is spreading through me. 
Surprised I rise and take a step back. 

Unknown feelings rush through me. 
Then I pick it up and take it to my heart. 

A peace full of love embraces me.

Q: Is it allowed to barbecue at the park?
A: Only an electric barbecue can be used. The château organizes each week on Wednesday during the season a barbecue.
Q: Are there supermarkets nearby?
A: 10 minutes walk in the village (Daumazan), there is a small supermarket (also open Sunday morning). 10 minutes drive (Les Bordes sur Arize) is a large supermarket that even has fresh fish. During high season every morning there is fress bread for sale from the baker at the park .
Q: Are there shops nearby?
A: In addition to the supermarket Daumazan has also shops like a butcher, baker, tabac, post office and a pharmacy. In Montesquieu (15 minutes drive) has a wider range of shops is available and you can withdraw money at various places.
Q: How is the weather generally?

Q: Is there a city nearby?
A: Toulouse is the biggest city nearby (45 min to city center), where you can shop and can pick terraces . The city looks a bit like Paris, but is much quieter.
Q: Are there restaurants nearby?
A: The village has a restaurant. In high season the restaurant of the château is open and has the possibility to buy snacks. In the immediate vicinity are several nice restaurants at 10-20 min drive. The château organizes each week on Wednesday during the season a barbecue and a pizza maker comes along in the park.
Q: What is the language on the park?
A: The park is usually spoken Dutch. The maintenance staff speak French, but the management, reception and the entertainment team speak English.
Q: Are there any other options than to swim in the park?
A: Yes, there are plenty at 20 minutes to one hour drive. At 20 minutes drive there is a natural lake with a beach (the Lac Mondeley).
